SHIPPING
We are same day shipping and ship to all countries in the world. If a special order is requested and is urgent, email us before you order, and let us know the date it is needed by. We do not deliver to Po box numbers, so physical address information is required.
Tracked Deliveries
Parcels sent throughout New Zealand Post using their tracked services can be tracked through their online tracking tool. This is normally 2-3 days within the main centers.
International Air Post
Orders to destinations outside New Zealand are shipped by priority International Air Post, which is very reliable, information for delivery times below:
The average delivery
Australia: 3 – 6 workings days.
South Pacific: 6 – 10 working days – Cook Islands, Fiji, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu
Asia: 6 – 10 working days – Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam only.
Rest of the world 6 – 10 working days
Te Korowai Aroha is not responsible for shipping times, which are beyond our control.
NB: Christmas time for posting as you know can be more extensive so please allow more time by ordering any gifts early, I suggest towards the middle to end of November, this will allow good time for postage and receiving them prior to Christmas day. So again, we must stress because of the time of the year the shipping times are again beyond our control, we cannot take any responsibility for shipping times to any country.
Cancellations: Please note we ship the same day the order is received when goods are in stock, so be aware that changing or canceling orders will not be accepted after 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) or after 2:00pm (Saturday) if orders were made on those days.
Tracked Airmail
Parcels sent through New Zealand Post using one of their tracked services (International Express Courier and International Courier) can be tracked through our online tracking tool. We may not receive tracking updates from certain countries once items leave New Zealand.
International Express Courier
If you want the security of Track and Trace and a speedy delivery, the International Express Courier option is for you. Targeted delivery time is 3-5 working days for most locations. Delivery not available to Post Office boxes, and a card will be left to pick up from DHL if you are not home when they call. The international carrier is DHL (or TNT in the case of taiaha).
International Economy Courier
Targeted delivery time is 2-6 working days, it’s a door-to-door service, and is available to the following locations: Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, USA, Ireland, and UK. Delivery CAN be to a post office box, and a parcel can be left at the doorstep. The international carrier is DHL.
INSURANCE
Insurance is provided FREE on parcels up to the value of US$100. Above that level, insurance is only available when using the Economy Courier or Express Courier shipping options.
CUSTOMS/ CLEARANCE CHARGES
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied to the purchaser or recipient once the package reaches the destination. From experience, this is particularly so in Canada, the UK and Europe. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict which customers or shipments will be subject to the charges. We therefore accept no responsibility for any duties or taxes charged and we will not alter our documentation in order to defraud these agencies.
